FLOin' Straight
So, here we are last night just before we ventured out to the annual Halloween Party at Marc and Janel's house....lovely, huh? I have to say I'm diggin' my straight 'do after being wavy the last year! So Michael went curly this time. Ha!

A Perfect Day
Today was a gorgeous day. The sun warmed our faces today. The sky was the perfect shade of blue.
I took the boys to my school as the Cross Country team was sponsoring the Pumpkin Run today. Austin sported his Nike running pants and matching shoes, and he and Ethan both wore their tie-dyed shirts I picked up for them yesterday from Warrens Cranberry Fest. Austin ran 1/4 mile then got to choose a pumpkin...and at the end after the 1/2 mile run, there were extra pumpkins so Ethan scrambled out of his stroller and chose two, and Austin chose a second pumpkin. There still were plenty left so I didn't feel bad that my kids chose two each.
Upon arriving home, we unloaded the pumpkins and placed them around the porch, and got a blanket out and grabbed some relaxation under that blue sky. Then the boys were off to the swings, back to the blanket, and then tore into a big cardboard box that became a 'house'. It kept both boys busy...and I had fun watching them pretend....
I enjoyed being lazy on that blanket with the boys. We shared ice cream, leafed through a magazine, tickled Ethan's bare feet....
