Head Under Water

The babe was baptized on Feb 22, his 2 month birthday. Michael and I had the task of choosing Ethan's Godparents....Kyle, Katie, Jim and Dawn are Austin's, and I am so happy and comfortable with our decision regarding that....it was an easy one. For me, this one was equally as easy. We chose them again. I am so happy they agreed. I feel honored they said 'yes' to not only Michael and I, but to the boys. I want stability, fairness, and consistency with both Austin and Ethan regarding their 'other parents' in their lives, and in the unforeseen event something happens to Michael and/or I they have promised us to be there. Austin and Ethan both now have the same Godparents who will love them each in their own special way, unconditionally and without fault. They'll help us to raise and love these boys, and to thank God for this wonderful life we have on this beautiful Earth!

Be My Valentine

Austin was super excited for Valentine's Day this year. His party was on Thursday the 12th, the day I unknowingly scheduled him to stay home with me and Ethan. I took him in special for his party. It was awesome to see Austin interact with this classmates and teachers.....he kept looking over at Ethan and I to make sure we were watching him and paying attention to what he was doing. It was also a good chance for me to take Ethan across the hallway and meet the teachers that will be taking care of Ethan when he starts daycare on March 2nd.
