I love being pregnant.
Now that the babe is out and he's enjoying the world through his own eyes instead of the 'belly button view' on the world, my body is transforming itself into its pre-pregnancy body.
At least it's trying to.
That means I can't wear my maternity wardrobe anymore...and I'm fitting into some of my old jeans and slacks. Yippee! (Except for that oh-so-wonderful 'baby pouch' that wants to stay).
The other day I went into my closet and took out all the maternity clothing, which is a lot, and looked at the clothing that was left, and I wanted to cry. There was something about my maternity wardrobe that gave me the 'I don't care what people think, I don't care if it's bold of me, I'm pregnant and that's my excuse. Get over it!' attitude...and now I don't have that. It's just me...and my wardrobe sucks. It's a bit hard, too, to have a desireable wardrobe since I teach and have to be conservative and modest in my dress. Come on, I teach high school boys - helloooooooooooo hormones!!
So anyway...that has been at the top of my mind lately.....I took all my clothing of my closet and organized it with the Huggable Hangers (Love them!!)..and weeded out clothes that will either be donated or sold at a rummage sale...so one of these days when I save a little green, I'll venture out and get a few new items.
This mom of two deserves it, don't you think?!
