On Sunday, we went to the fifth annual Get Fired Up for Safety in downtown Marshfield with Grandpa Bob and Grandma Cheryl - they came to visit us! Austin was excited to see all the different fire trucks, ladder trucks, and ambulances....
He got to try on a helmet - it was so heavy, when the firefighter put it on his head, he was afraid to move!
Touching and sitting on the fire truck was so exciting.....
..but he loved sitting in the fire trucks even more! So, we went from truck...
...to truck....
...and he even got to squirt water at some floating ducks!
He had a fun time on Sunday. We were downtown today since I had to run some errands, and he was asking where all the fire trucks went. I guess we'll have to go back next year! He'll be a little older so he can do more things with the firefighters and their demonstrations and games.
